After breakfast we toured the valley with Nuthatch, Great-spotted woodpecker and family parties of bullfinch before checking on the pond but apart from 3 Common Tern and 1000s of Swifts not a lot else.

Early steam
Arrived with Dave and Colin at Rugby
Station just in time to see LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 no 44932 being brought in to
platform 6 and prepared for her journey hauling the Cathedrals Express Rugby to
Sailsbury steam special at 7:15am.. Hope she put a smile on some of the early morning
commuters faces on their way to London – they did look a miserable lot. Unfortunately
the weather was overcast and dull and not ideal for photography.
